F1 2021 F1 2021 no voices

Good day

The Codemasters forum sheds no light on the issue. Perhaps anyone here has had it before.
I started playing f1 2021 yesterday and it seems i got no sound when people start to talk.
Not in interviews. Not with cut scenes.

I do hear a small thing when they start but its numbed and down deep for a half seconds before it turns "dark"

Having the same issue, all other sounds working, phone calls not working and Will's speech at the start of the my team mode also silent.

Steam validation fixed it for me. Needed to redownload about 250mb.

During the race the engine sound is bad and engineer voice go at rallenty!!!
