I made this reference sheet for the CSX3 wheel showing how F1 23 maps the different inputs.
I found it sometimes difficult to understand which button was mapped to certain controls or inputs. The main F1 23 controller mapping screen sets up certain associations but then reuses many of those controls in other contexts. If you're anything like me, then you don't always immediately remember which control the game mapped to "16". I have this on my top monitor while racing.
