Fanatec clubsport v3 inverted

I got an email from fanatec about these new pedals and I can't find anything about them anywhere. They seem like a good set of pedals, even if they're massively expensive. Has anyone seen any reviews for the pedals?

I currently have the old Fanatec CSR pedals with the inversion kit and I was a bit surprised there was no high end inversion option.

These have just arrived out of nowhere so will take a little while to get reviewed. Substantially overpriced in my opinion. 140 just for the extra bracket. If you're going to spend 600 euro, then you may pay a bit more pick up the superior HE Pro pedals.

The frame doesn't look great, but it should be ok. It makes the pedal set look very big, my worry would be that it will be difficult to fit in a rig.

I think HE may have better quality and will last way more years...but this have some features like rumble, inverted, little bit cheaper and exchangeable springs that makes them interesting too.

Anyway I would go HE way. I trust more in Niels service definitely.

I upgraded to HE Pro's from ClubSport v3 a couple of weeks back so have a good feel of the differences.

The regular V3's can't be beaten on price/performance, but these inverted V3's are terrible value for money. The HE Pro's are a lot better than the Clubsports which makes the invert clubsports pointless at this price. Drop the price by 100 euros and they'll be relevant.

They priced themselves out of the pockets of Many guys. Despite them adding Tonnes of new parts to the Pedals (frame work/supports), It doesn't justify the price hike.

And in reality they actually drove more business to HE due to this.....Tho Im sure Neil isn't going to complain. :whistling:

If someone is serious about spending at this premium level for pedals they won't buy Fanatec, it would be a foolish mistake.

What is also curious is the markup on the european prices over the US prices on the Fanatec website, for a European business they favor the US customers by quite a margin.

I was kind of tempted by them. I don't like the idea of switching to a non inverted pedal set. But I think I'd drop down to the standard V3s with the damper kit rather than spend more on the HE.

We don't have that ~20% VAT here in the US, that's why our prices are so much lower. European guys are being screwed by their socialist governments, not by Fanatec

Good point, I just ran a currency conversion and removed the 20% and it's not a lot more in Euros. Btw the EU isn't socialist, wealth and opportunities certainly aren't equally shared between the EU members. Look at the state Greece is in.
