Hi,
Not sure if anyone can help me with the following problem.
I noticed last night that Windows 10 has replaced the factory Fanatec game controller panel with it's own.
I just cannot get Windows 10 to accept the Fanatec versions. I downloaded the latest version from the European website.
I remove the Microsoft ones via device manager (HID Games Controller, all three of them). Make sure the PC is not connected to the internet. Restart the PC (with the wheel dis-connected) and then install the Fanatec ones, which all looks fine.
When I connect the wheel base, and check games controllers it's still showing the Windows drivers and properties.
It's a very basic properties window, XYZ, buttons and calibrate button, so no FFB settings, wheel settings, etc.
I was just wondering if anyone else had these issues recently. I know there is a way of stopping Windows 10 automatically installing these drivers but I need to look into that.
Thanks in advance.
