Fanatec Porsche 911 Carrera Wheel

I was wondering what you guys think of this Fanatec offering. I presently use an xbox controller for my pc sim racing, and it's not cutting it. I was originally looking into the Logitech G27, but that just shot up in price and is no longer an option for me. I was thinking of getting the Carrera, as well as the paddle shifter add-on and the metal plate for the pedals. This would come in at roughly a little over $200 US for everything shipped. What are your opinions of this wheel?

I will be reviewing the Carrera wheel before Xmas here at RD, so might be worth waiting a week or two
