Fanatec wheel slides off center

Wheel slides off center after a crash in AC but doesn't go off center while in PC2. Is this normal for wheel to go off center in AC?

update guys, I haven't played in VR for last couple of weeks so when I crashed today in VR wheel didn't go off center, tested for 30 minutes. when I go back to playing on monitor wheel goes off center after crash.

Haven't heard of this problem. My G27 certainly never does it any AC or any other sim. Maybe it's a wheel fault, despite being limited to just one sim.

"after a crash" you mean hitting a wall with the car? If so that would just be suspension damage. It's an old feature that hasn't been fleshed out so it happens rarely.

edit: VR or not, makes no difference, you have (un)lucky coincidence going.
