So originally your car is meant to be chrome effect or you just didn't know that there is a paint effect too? Of course if you choose a simple color as environment then the environment size,height won't matter.

i was tried to apply metallic paint but the car doesn't look nice. as w1n1x stated the car has paint effect so paint effect is suited for the car rather than metallic paint/metal polished
