Far too long to load a sp race!!

Sorry but getting fed up by how long this takes to load a race.. Especially when your testing settings..

can this be fixed?

Yeah, I've got R3E installed on an SSD and loading a track still takes ages.

Yep, agree, I'm not sure if loading should take as long as it does.

Also, some of the "Press any key to continue" screens are unnecessary?

I did stop testing because of this , I hope they sort this out , we are spoiled nowadays with loading times in games , I do remember the old days when I started a game I would go make a cup of tea - and back in time for start of race ::: lol .

Try switching the graphics settings to low for testing purposes. It should load faster.
May be a workaround until they make the loading times shorter.
