It's a million-to-1 chance, but it just might work

Are you a paid up member of the Tifosi? Or would you kill to get behind the wheel of the Ferrari F10?

If so, you're going to love this! For 15€ you can download the simulator and drive the F10 at the Fiorano track. Two others tracks, Mugello and the Nurburgring GP, will be added at a later date.

Ferrari promise that the sim will be very realistic, as the car model is based on official CAD data, and Alonso, Massa and Fisichella have been involved too, giving feedback to make sure it all feels real.

A competition is involved too, with a great prize: "If, at the end of the Trofeo, you are part of the five fastest drivers, you will win a trip into the heart of Ferrari: to Maranello. You will walk through the gates in Fiorano and participate in the exclusive Ferrari Driver Academy course, personally headed by exceptional tutors from the Scuderia."

If its just a hotlap simulator it does seem to be an opportunity missed, as the NetKar Pro engine will support on-line racing. With on-line racing, for 15€ it would give iRacing's Williams a good run for its money, though being limited to three tracks would limit its longer term appeal.

But a hotlap simulator with just one track initially does sound more like a demo to me. I suppose though that even though its poor value, the price is low enough to tempt many of us to try it.
