FFB Issues not realated to FPS

Hi I am helping my someone getting AMS up and running and the game works fine but the FFB isn't picking up, he is using a g25 wheel and it works great in SCE but nothing in AMS. We've tried valadating the files, creating a new profile all different settings in game and in the profiler and nothing works, I'm stumped as it works great for everyone except him and the wheel works perfect in any other sim.

Edit: we even tried using different usb ports and everything
