FFB Settings - Stationary Force Resets

Hi all - I am trying R3E for the first time and finding that when stopped, the FFB is VERY strong and it makes my G27 make some very ugly noises if I try to turn. If I change the stationary force setting in the setup file, as soon as I launch the game it resets to 0.5 - even with downloaded setups it will change ALL of them to 0.5 upon launch. Is that intentional or what am I doing wrong? If I come to a stop on the track I'm basically screwed because I can't turn the wheel and am often pointing a wacky direction.

FFB stationary friction="0.25" // Amount of friction applied to the steering wheel when vehicle is stationary

For me it's 0.25 and don't change

Where do you find this parameter? have been looking at normal UI and webmenu UI, could not find this.

It's not in the game, it's in your controller profile file.

Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\UserData\ControlSet
