Cars FFR or other kit car availability general question.

Specifically, I was wondering about the Factory Five Racing Type 65-R Kit car?

Which looks similar to a Daytona Coupe with modern suspension and aero.

or are Kit Cars not done as they aren't a consistent "model" (too much variation from car to car).

People build mod cars they are either interested in or get contracted for. If a car doesn't exist as a mod, nobody yet had the desire to build it, simple as that.

I don't think consistency is a problem, moreso that they're pretty obscure without being notable. People tend to pick cars that will be popular among whatever crowd. Also, takes the same effort to build an FF "shelby" or an actual Shelby Daytona, so there's no matter of attainability.
