Figuring Out a Song Title....(w/o lyrics)

So, how do y'all go about figuring out a song when you only know the beat and very little (almost none) of the words?

I heard a song in a restaurant tonight (in the bathroom of all places) and was trying to find it, but don't know how to search for such a thing with such little info.

Any thoughts?

Try Midomi (if you don't sing out of tune ^^).

And next time it happens you can use your phone to record or identify the song on the fly (there are loads of apps that do it: shazam, facebook, google, and so on).

Just google what lyrics you remember, there's bound to be someone else out there that was looking for it. Recently was doing something similar, looking for a song I hadn't heard since late 80's or so. Turned out to be this:

All I remembered of the song was the, "oh oh, oh oh oh..." part.
