First triple Monitors? AOC 32 inch..

I’ll probably get one chance at triples and I can get AOC c32v1q for $249 au, im running a 1080 ti / I7 7700. Should I go for this or do I really need to go with the AOC c32g1 with 144 hz, 1 ms At $379 each. New to monitors, currently use a 65 inch 4K tv. Any help appreciated.

I have 27" 1080p monitors 56cm from my eyes and its fine , great even only my 1080Ti/7700k isnt enough for ACC so im glad i didnt go 1440p ! Although it would look crisper i would probably have to run at 1080p on 1440p screens so it would look really quite poor !
If i had heaps more money id get 27" 1440p and a 2080Ti but i dont even think a 2080Ti would do 1440p comfortably anyway so would aim for next gen graphics .
As it is im stocked with 1080p triples but looking for a way to remove my CPU bottleneck in ACC , do i need more cores or faster cores ?? I can reduce settings to High for a couple of settings to remove the 100% GPU but i need to remove Mirrors to get rid of CPU limitation , i dont like running without mirrors because i have triples and now i can see all mirrors but they are just black rectangles with them off :(

I run a 1080ti and triple 1440p screens - I'll admit ACC batters my graphics card but I've got it running at an acceptable framerate by reducing the display scaling I think it's called then a mix of customer graphics settings to get it stable. I know I'll end up changing the card at some point so I decided to get the best I can afford right now. I know if I went 1080p I would have regretted it and ended up upgrading both the card and the monitors eventually. I'm running a 5930k at 4.4 ghz. It runs all the sims I've tried - just not on Ultra graphics settings etc.

Just made this call myself and went with 3 x 32" displays -- LG with IPS panels, 1080p and 75Hz. I picked them up this week, but no time to unpack them just yet. My rationale was two fold: 1) from measurements/FOV calculations, 32" gave me a more comfortable viewing distance/the side angle that I want and 2) price point (they were actually priced lower than many 27" here in Canada).

I'm running three of the AOC C32G1 at 144Hz, viewing distance 30 inches from eyes to screen. In my opinion the 32" is an excellent choice as it gives you more flexibility for clearance of other components such as the wheel base.

I'm very happy with these monitors and would definitely recommend them.

I'm running the same monitors with a 2070s and can recommend them. I have them slightly closer and am happy to get high frame rates at 1080. Glad I didn't go for 1440 monitors in the end as I would be struggling to power them properly. Hope that's of some help.

I read people always ragging on 27" or 33"at 1080p saying it's no good! I can't talk for 32" but 27 is perfectly fine at 1080p and whole GPU performance is what is it going higher resolution isn't possible in ACC and I'm guessing AMS 2 anyway.
Fully stoked with my 27" 1080p AOC monitors ;)

If you want triples at higher than 1080p you'd better be prepared to settle for <60fps or spend major $$$ for a gpu.

3 x 1440p = 33% more pixels than 4k...

For what it's worth, I'm pleased with my triple my 32" @ 1080 -- I don't find the pixel density too low or the pixel size objectionable. This is likely due to the increased viewing distance compared to 24" or 27". Or my eyesight, perhaps. :p

Would a higher res panel offer increased fidelity? Sure. Am I ready to take the hit on the increased monitor cost and GPU(s) to drive them? No. I'd rather put the $ into upgrading other parts of my setup.

I am very satisfied with my triple 32" 2560 x 1440 144hz MSI monitors. I run everything at 7680 x 1440 resolution with G-sync compatible mode enabled. ACC runs mostly in the mid to upper 60fps to mid 70fps with an occasional dip into the upper 50fps particularly at the start of a race, but everything is smooth. R3E on high settings 75-110fps, medium settings 95- 140fps. AC benchmark today says an average of 108fps. CPU i7 8700, GPU GTX 1080ti, 16GB RAM.
These will probably the last monitors I ever buy, and as new graphics cards and processors keep getting faster I can turn up the eye candy in the games and not have the expense of upgrading the monitors too.

My center monitor is 60cm from my eyes and side monitors are at 60 degrees.

For anybody else trying to decide between 1440 and 1080.
Here is a sunny day at Zandvoort in ACC with 7680x1440 resolution and the settings from my post above. Framerate is displayed on the lower right of the tablet.

KO

p.s.
McLaren wheel has the SRM magnetic shifters.

I just took the plunge with 3 x 27" AOC G2790PX monitors.
1080p @ 144hz and I get between high 60s and low 100s with some settings turned down and full grid in ACC.
Running a r7 3800x with a 2070s and it's totally fine with what I need.
27s look pretty massive once you're sitting about 60cm from the center screen and have the two other monitors either side of you.
It feels more natural to be able to see someone coming up the inside/outside of you on the side monitors. Super immersive.
Just need to confirm the angle of my monitor set up as I think there is room for improvement, they look around 50 degrees or so.
