The new Fittipaldi Motors manufacturer have confirmed their first Supercar to hit the road will make an appearance in the Gran Turismo series of games for PlayStation 4.
Double Formula One World Champion and Indy 500 winner Emerson Fittipaldi is set to reveal his brand new supercar design at the Geneva International Motor Show in March, and what's more the first ever Fittipaldi Motors release will be making an appearance in the upcoming new Gran Turismo Sport racing game!
Fittipaldi, crowned FIA Formula One World Champion in both 1972 and 1974, has begun a new venture entitled Fittipaldi Motors that will look to produce a range of high performance supercars in the coming years. In partnership with legendary Italian design house Pininfarina and German engineering group HWA, the brand new Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo will make its world debut at the March 7th International Motor Show in Geneva.
Pininfarina have revealed the small teaser image of the new EF7 on their Facebook page with a strong nod towards the fact that Fittipaldi himself has had substantial input into the new design:
"The mind of iconic driver Emerson Fittipaldi, the delicate craftsmanship of Pininfarina and the flawless engineering by HWA together have created a modern masterpiece, the Fittipaldi EF7
Vision Gran Turismo by Pininfarina"
Fittipaldi is of course a well known name in motorsport circles but is perhaps less high profile with motoring enthusiasts and the younger car driving audience than was once the case. With the deal secured to feature the Fittipaldi Motors Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo by Pininfarina (rolls off the tongue doesn't it) in upcoming GT games, before the car has even publically hit the road, Fittipaldi and Co. have pulled off an impressive marketing ploy that should go a long way towards bringing this new Supercar manufacturer to forefront of the public imagination.
No news with regards to if the EF7 will be the only car to enter the Gran Turismo franchise is available at this time.

Do you think Fittipaldi can produce a car capable of taking it to the big money manufacturers? Would you prefer to see the EF7 in GT6 or the upcoming GT Sport? Does having the car represented in a racing game make it a more appealing purchase (for those who can afford one anyway...) Let us know in the comments section below!
