Fixed Gears

Running some laps with V8's today but wanted to change gears.
In the garage gears are locked and cannot be changed. Only reverse could be changed.
V12 gears can be altered but the V8 are fixed ones?

the gears are fixed in the real life series as well, replicated in the game

If your talking about the SuperV8's I can adjust the gears (final drive gears) but not seperate gears or reverse
