Flickering brake lights?

Hi anyone noticed any brake light issues while watching replays?
I noticed the lights flickering on and off intermittently on parts of tracks where no braking is
required, even on straights when flat out on throttle and my left foot is completely away from the pedal.

I heared it could be something with having to clean your potentiometers in your pedals...

This is not a software issue, but a hardware issue. Try to set a deadzone of 1 or 2%, and see if your pedal stops braking by itself then.

I'm guessing you have the Driving Force Pro/GT pedals.

Thanks Tim it was indeed the pot on the brake pedal, cleaned it with WD40 and a cotton bud and problem solved.

Don't clean it with WD40 regularly though. It doesn't do much good for the plastic part of the potmeter and in time it won't work at all. Get some (I don't know the exact name) electrical cleaning oil. That won't hurt any of the electric parts neither the plastic.

WD-40 will end up attracting more dust than it gets rid off...a can of compressed air (though expensive) is your best bet.

i ve been told switchcleaner should do the trick
