Feeling nostalgic? Why not join us on Thursday nights to drive, slip and slide with cars from a different era? We'll be going to some classic tracks with these lovely Beasts. No TC, ABS or other gizmos. Just the car and you doing a little dance with your feet driving manual transmission cars. This week we're going to Croft Circuit, with the Ford Escort RS 1600.

RaceDepartment.com US Club Practice #36 will be provided.

A message to all Drivers
If you run off track, you have to check and see that its clear before you re-enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits stay off the racing line until you are up to speed and do not race on your out lap. Let other drivers by in qualifying.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car. Remember, you've made the mistake by going off so let them by cleanly.
Golden Rule
  1. Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in teamspeak. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

@Bobby Pennington ..this is killing me, it really is, I absolutely love racing with you guys, its fun and its fair, yes I was running towards the back of the field, but for sure was being pulled towards the front, with all the help I was getting  ...you are a great host Bobby, you will help anybody, but will not stand for any :poop: very fair and firm :thumbsup:

Sadly since the change in time zone here in the UK, it means a 2am race for me and staying up for most of the night, its surprising what a difference just 1 hr makes. Very sadly (due to time zone) it does start to effect the others within my young family  like having breakfast with my boys before they go to school, I found I was just not able to get up in time, my youngest would sit on my disability scooter and get a ride to school, he loved it :) and it was/is also the "highlight" of my day

I understand that you can not change the start time and would never ask you to, I am one of just many involved. I just wanted you to know exactly why you are not seeing me so often.

Having said all that, I can not miss this great combo ...but I will leave you all shortly after the race.

In please ..ill take the Ford Escort RS 1600 :roflmao::p

Sorry, but unless I can sort my rift I won't be racing, stupid fekin headset shuts off when the car & track loads, not sure if its an issue with the Oculus software or the headset itself, it was happening before I took my short break. And it's frustrating the :poop: out of me, Ive done the usual stuff, swapped usb ports, restarted the computer, restarted Oculus software, swore and cursed etc etc:thumbsup:, but no joy.....I HATE TECHNOLOGIES THAT DON'T FEKIN WORK PROPERLY:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::speechless::speechless:
So best put me as a maybe for now:(

@InsaneOzzie ..I experienced many issues with my rift, I decided to get in touch with Oculus support, eventually after trying many things over several days, they explained how to remove the software and reinstall ..guess what, it still never worked !! ...

So I did this again (uninstalled) but this time I went to my "regedit" and one by one removed every entry made by "Oculus" and I mean every one ..there around 300 entries so no small task..just use the find next function within "regedit" ...reinstalled the software and hey presto :D ..not had an issue since.

If you do want try this? ..give me a shout, I can explain further, it does also involve "safe mode" ..but for sure it is a last step.

Thanks for the tip mate, I'll get onto it, deleting reg files is pretty straight forward. I did read that there is an issue with Oculus after your PC goes into sleep mode causing the headset to black screen, a reboot is required to fix the issue, but it's only a temp fix. Problem re-occurs once your PC enters sleep mode again, Oculus know about it but have done diddly squat to fix it.....typical.
