Ford GT40 - P/1073 - BOAC 6 Hours 1968 #8 (4k) - Final of the 3 GT40's I planned on making of the 1968 BOAC.

On my quest to make all known chassis' of GT40's for AC, I am adding 3 cars to the completed list. Since the version in AC is a late spec GT40, I am only making the cars from 1968-1970 on this model for historical accuracy. Most GT40's were converted or rebuilt to this shape by 1968 so it works I suppose?

This is #8, with its very odd metallic colour which I can't fully recreate. The car did not finish this race.

You have got the colour right but the rear bodywork is completely wrong. 1073 ran rare very square Paul Hawkins Bodywork my friend owns this actual car.
