I mean, you had quite some amount of seasons with barely doing anything, bad results... That's not enjoyable for sure. And it might not even work out, we'll see.

Thanks to Tim's (imo) idiotic move to sell him Lauda it might just work. Else he'd never got drivers good enough to make use of the car.

You say idiotic, but the expensive trade worked on his end. With the extra money, Ferrari (despite Jody's DNF streak) moved up 3 places so far in the constructors championship, and Jody is 3rd (despite his DNF streak).
Sure, Mansell is useless but he's not in his prime yet. Plus he's better than both the BRM drivers

I feel it would have worked anyway if Lotus wasn't there, I'm more worried about the threat from Lotus than ATS or any current top team. We'll see next season, James will be a good benchmark.

Meh, say what you want but giving away the best driver on the grid is idiotic.

Every driver is better than the BRM drivers, ever since I lost Fittipaldi I've only got poor drivers, except for Peterson and maybe Laffite. As I don't see that changing anytime soon it'll only be a matter of time before BRM is out

The $3800 I paid had the potential to increase his engine and aero by 16 (56->59->69->72), which is far more than the difference between Lauda and Mansell.

Everybody keeps talking about drivers I used to have. Lauda, Fittipaldi, Peterson. Some of us in Tier 4 & 5 will forever be known as the team that found a future champion first and molded them into greatness.

You say that, but Oliver and Stommelen sucked in the best car on the grid, it wasn't until I got Piquet and Jones the next year that I was able to fight for wins.
