Here is an idea: as a stand alone game, I am sure some of us aficionados will buy it at almost any price, but a lot of people may not making it a money loser for them. However, as a paid DLC for GSC 2012 I am sure a lot of folks would buy it it would bring the price of the full game around the $40 (where it should be) at least for a while and make them some money while we get to drive it.
If the license is not forthcoming, a pCARS style fake brading I think would be just fine for most of us.
