Formula V10 won't stop auto upshifting

Hi all I need help please.

First when I updated recently I could not get the game out of "Windowed" mode. I tried everything mentioned in these forums and no luck so I went to version 1.5.16. Everything was fine until I tried the Formula V10 and I cannot get the car to stop auto upshifts. It's very annoying.

From memory, the Formula V10 cars are set to upshift automatically because that was how the real cars were setup
I believe you can turn this off somehow

The option is in the Garage under Electronic Aids.

Hopefully you found the options to disable this if you like. That said, you really should try and learn to drive this car as it was designed. It's a blast, and in many ways a new challenge. Regardless how you choose to drive it, this car in AMS is one of the very best. A real beast that will demand throttle control even with the default traction control.

Exactly. And it can be turned off if you really prefer in the garage menu (as mentioned above).

Thank you very much I did not see that or know that. As for Gringo's comment to drive as designed I am very surprised......go back to auto/half auto....shame on you!!!! LOL!!
