I'm fairly new to trying the Forza 5 game. I focussed on getting enough XP to buy the 1976 McLaren M23. Now that I have one, I have to say I am surprised by the physics. The drift characteristics of other types of cars persists. No matter what I do with the tuner setups, I can still drift around turns and often have to and of course it is not the fastest way to take the turn. F1 cars do not like going sideways and every effort is made in their design and development to get them around a turn as quickly as possible with absolute minimum drift.
I wonder whether anyone here knows why the drift is so persistent in the F1 type cars? Or is there a trick I am missing in the setup? Which incidentally I find cumbersome in not being able to access it in pre-race.
