FOV a different view.

Good pun; Steliyan is IMO highly credible,
and his FoV rationale is sound.
I have been using the FOV calculators that are advised by the content creators I truly respect.
But I was in Spa a few months ago: and the distance from La Source to the Raidillon looks much too close in AC.

There you go. When first sim driving with AC, flat screen was for me stressful,
and I did not really enjoy sim until VR with Samsung Odyssey.
Perhaps because my binocular vision did not fuse IRL until age 40,
apparent distance changes on screen with minor head movements were disconcerting,
making judging corners on screen using AC's suggested FoV
much harder than the same corners IRL.
Being now totally acclimated to VR with HP Reverb, if trying flat screens again,
then it would certainly be starting with Steliyan's technique.
