FSR 2.1 now and blurry FXAA mandated On?

2 Q's....

  • CSP 1.77 uses FSR 2.1 I assume, correct?
  • Is there a way to use MSAA (nice and sharp) instead of FXAA (blurry) with FSR active in AC? Why does FXAA have to be on? (ok that's 3 Qs I guess, heh)

From my understanding it is version 2.0 of fsr. Someone suggested to me that it didn't work properly through csp and to run it externally which I did. Much sharper image and better performance I'm in vr though.

In csp setting possibly grathics adjustments you can change the filtering you mention

how do you run fsr externally instead of through csp?

What you can do is enable FXAA in settings/AC/video, but disable it in graphic adjustments/post processing antialiasing. That way you'll get the FSR to work without the FXAA kicking in. In addition to the above, another thing that has worked well for me is to use the "old implementation" of the FSR. It works and looks better.
