Apps g-force and tyre data app v1.5

PanaRace970 submitted a new resource:

g-force and tyre data app - classic g-force plot (current/max) and tyre pressure, temperature, wear, slip, dirt level

Show a classical g-force plot (with current and max values) and for each tyre show pressure in bar, temperature in C, wear in %, slip ratio (colored), dirt level (colored).

You can change the font size by editing fontSize = 16 in GForce.py.
Feel free to change bar to psi and C to F. You'd need to look into the code for this.

More precision and customization

Changes in 1.1:
- show the tyre usage with 2 decimal points (if below 100.0%)
- allow to configure which parts to display (gforce, tyres, pedals)

How to customize: edit gforce.py and change the following lines

# change as desired
fontSize = 16
opacity = 0
showHeader = 0

showGForce = 1
showTyres = 1
showPedals = 1
---

E.g. if you don't want to see the g-force, change it to
showGForce = 0

Please place the "GForce" directory inside the apps/python directory in assettocoresa.

Hi, the Dot on my G meter doesn't center on the crosshairs when car not moving. Instead it centers on bottom right of the crosshair. How to fix? Or what values can I change myself on the .py file?

EDIT: found my problem - expanding size of crosshairs in .py file led to mismatched dot so I changed size back to default

added timer for hiding buttons, they re-appear with click on app
exposed some variables to CM app config and changes ingame are saved
added neat little z-force indicator (vertical up/down force)

install note: open archive, go into the folder "GForce", and unpack/copy both folders "apps" and "content" into AC steam folder; alternatively drag'n'drop archive into ContentManager and use 3-bar menu to install

fixed inconsistency btw CM ui and actual settings
tyre values are colored now, if you choose a color preset
added trailing for geforce, it has a length option (0..400), off by default
added trailing transparency value
Beware! too much trailing length can be taxing on FPS!

note:
Dont change FontSize in "GForce.py" as sugested in the first post !
It will be calculated from appsize anyway, which is changeble.

Did you remove the old or did you just overwrite? when overwritten, you maybe have to delete
"assettocorsa\apps\python\GForce\settings\settings.ini"
or do a "reset" here:

Update v1.4

added unit-switches for tyre-pressure and temperature (bar/psi and °C/°F)
added smoothing for g-force, 0..20, default=10
raised max trail-length to 1000 (its not that taxing on FPS )

if you update from a previous version, please use "Reset" button in
CM->settings->APPs->"g-force and tyre data app"
...or delete "assettocorsa\apps\python\GForce\settings\settings.ini"
