G25/Driving Force Shifter hybrid

Hi

My G25 shifter potentiometers' holders are worn now, after about a decade of use. I'm thinking about buying a Logitech Driving Force Shifter and transferring the "gubbins" (as Martin Brundle says) into my G25 shifter... I want to then modify the Driving Force Shifter+G25 innards into an analogue handbrake, using an Arduino ProMicro.

So my question is... Are the internals of these two shifters the same? I can't find any info on the insides of the Driving Force Shifter.
