Unfortunately Logitech stupidly haven't changed the title of their drivers, the ones I sent you are from May 2016, so far everyone that's tried them and who use G25/7 have found they worked, so fingers crossed.

What are your global settings, and the profiler is this one.
Yes, this software, that I used years (8 year at G27) as driver and everything )) I don't know any other software for G27. I did not touch a months (or year) to S.Wheel, maybe something's changed, and I missed them ? (( I feel, you not understand my bad English, Sorry for that.

My settings were, before this situation > Of Course now I can't run profile, this is main problem.

I get my wheel occasionally bring recognised as dfgt. I have a link on my desktop to reinstall the correct driver. Fixes it for me.

I'll boot up the of later and tell you what it runs. Can't remember right now.

Ahhh a fellow Elite Dangerous CMDR.

Hope this helps you.

I have the following folder installed by the G27 installer on my win 10 machine:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logitech\WMDrivers

In there is "WMWizard.exe"

My shortcut on my desktop executes that file. I use it whenever my G27 is recognised as a DFGT (which happens every couple of months).

That seems to fix the issue of wrong wheel recognised for me.

Have not had to use it for a while though and can't remember if I have to reboot after running it or not. Can't also remember if I remove the DFGT from device manager first or if I just run it.

If you have that EXE file then have a play and see what happens.

I post recently about a similar problem .
I have a G25 but i suppose it may apply to G27 too.

After the recent win10 update, I switched on the new feature "Core isolation + Memory integrity".
Nothing special at first sight, but in detail this feature block totally this installation or use of some software / drivers , etc...
Impossible to install properly the driver for my G25 (Which doesn't work anymore after the update) and impossible to make my driver working properly (no way to launch the logitech profiler)

After switch off of the feature, everything works again without any troubles (logitech profiler, driver install , ...)
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials...-isolation-memory-integrity-windows-10-a.html

Just in case it may help (if you unfortunately had also activitated this new windows feature)

I had a similar problem where my profiler wouldn't launch and I could not re-install it.
https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/g27-profiler-not-launching.153252/

I also had other software stop working and R3E wouldn't launch without the profiler. In the end I did a full re-install of Win10 and everything is working again. If you can't fix your problem, a full re-install may be your only option.

The correct profiler version is lgs510_x64.exe
