G27 problem

Hi guys, I have been trying to get into gtr2, been playing GSCE and assetto corsa with no problems, but GTR2 gives me a weird jerking movement on my wheel. I have tried looking at peoples profiles online, and also used the windows control panel instead of logitech profiler with no luck. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I know describing force feedback issues is difficult, but your description really isn't much help. When do you feel the weird jerking on your wheel? All the time? What is wierd about it? What are you expecting and what are you getting, including the circumstances at the time e.g stationary, in a corner,driving in a straight ;line, braking etc etc.

What settings have you selected in game? Did you go for the G25 option? Is force feedback effects set to low as is the default with the G25?

Basically if i turn the wheel to the left or right the wheel wants to move itself in the direction I am turning it. almost like its doing the opposite of whats its supposed to do, also when I have the wheel dead center, theres a little play in which the wheel just moves freely. ya it is hard to describe ffb problems

you sure that you do not need to reverse the FFB strength?
I think for Logitech wheels, it needs to be negative

Thanks for the better description. Warren is correct.

In GTR2 go to the Controls menu and select the Force tab.

Look for Specialised effects and choose the Logitech G25 Racing Wheel

this should automatically set Reverse effects (box ticked) and set force feedback effects to LOW.
