F1 22 Game Crashes Before It Starts

Is anyone else in here having problems starting the new game?
I click play and it crashes before it even starts, showing these details:

Gathering crash info...
Preparing ZIP file...
Report code: GDDS-HVGV-VSVR-JTAE
C:\Users\alkie\AppData\Local\Temp\896391-20220702-175328-0.zip

I spent yesterday trawling the net for a solution and tried everything but to no avail.
I know that you need to sign up with EA and have their app running to play the game right? But as I purchased the game from Steam, it isn't showing in the EA app? F1 2021 plays like a dream on my PC so I expected F1 2022 to be the same, it appears not!!
Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated thanks

I haven't had the chance, it is a brand new install from Steam & I have yet to actually get it to open, thanks for your reply anyway

F1 21 had this issue for a lot of people and they had to wait for it to be sorted out with a patch

There was a fix for f1 21 you had to disable the nvidia overlay if youre running an nvidia graphics card try that

Thanks for the reply but just two days ago it started up without a hitch...I almost fell off my settee in shock Their last update to the game must have done the trick

Yes, same here.

The 1.05 patch fixed the issue.
