game does not recognize manual gears

After the last update, manual transmission cars do not recognize my h shifter. The only way to shift gears is to use the shifter flaps.
The game recognizes the bindings just fine.
I have rebound the gears several times but cannot get any car to respond.
Help please! I miss my shifter on the older cars.

There is a setting under controls somewhere to turn the H shifter on or off, I noticed after the update that had defaulted to off. Turn that back on and it should work again.
