F1 2011 Game Freezes On Loading

After signing in to Windows Live and after the checking storage devices screen my copy freezes.

"F1 2011 exectuble stopped working"

Does this happen to anyone else? Is there a fix or patch for this.

Please help!!!

use beta driver 285 if u have Nvidia card

If you are using a wheel try either of these :-

Start the game (with the wheel connected) and use your keyboard to go through the initial screens (this makes the keyboard the default controller)

Now go to the options and setup your wheel again .....

OR

Unplug the wheel
Start the game using the keyboard
Once loaded, exit the game.
Connect your wheel, start the game, and set the wheel up again .....
