PC2 Game won't start on steam black hanging screen

Any one else had this problem? Played it Thursday night on steam after download ok.. started laptop today says starting and then just hangs in blank screen ???

I would suggest to start by checking your Windows Event Viewer and see if you see any messages logged when it's trying to start. Also, check the game integrity within Steam.
