Gamepad/Controller for W10 Laptop

I have Grand Prix 4 running on a Windows 10 laptop and it is fun, even if only using the AZ,. keys etc, when I am away from home sim rig setup.
To get a little more out of the game, I was thinking of a gamepad/controller and looking for recommendations??
