F1 2010 Games for windows live registration - not associated - why?

Hi.
I made an account on the web of GFWL, I logged in the game, it started downloading some patch, then needed restart. Once I restarted the game and tried to log in with my email it says "the id is not associated with gamertag. do you want to do it now?" (something like that) - even though I already made gamertag with my name, email etc. I even have verified my email... I tried different gamers tag but no change. I cant get there. Any advice? thanks!
