Gaming fandoms and civility:it's gotten worse

I hate to be that guy but i am going to say it no matter what gaming forum i find my self in there's always this rift between game devs and the customers i constantly see people rageing in the fourms and sending threats to the devs We must remember that devs are people too they make mistakes yes their are some greedy studios out there but still what i see around these days make me worried for the future of gaming and need to let it out.

If the dev is doing a good job, no, i dont agree with you.
At least not for the simracing world. Everytime i see an update for R3E, AC of ACC the people generally are really happy and grateful.

hmm maybe i need to take a break from online drama completely then perhaps my world outlook will improve. I have already stopped debating politics perhaps i should do the same for gameing then. What do you think?

It comes down to perception imo.
Having recently had that enforced on me for several months I can say when I returned it almost seemed worse than I remembered.
But previous experience taught me that although a vocal minority act like arses the vast bulk of people are decent and friendly.
Remember that here on RD there is a report button to be used when aforementioned arses cross the lines.
