Getting AC full screen on Rift S {VR Noob}

I've just got a Rift S and it's up and working nicely

I cannot get AC running in full screen only as a floating 2d tv

Rendering mode is Rift mode and full screen with a lot of stuff turned down low . I do have CM but I'm starting with vanilla AC

I applied IT Solution no. 1* and it seems to be ok now

Any hints or tips would be nice though




*Turned it all off and then back on again
