Getting online

Ok guys, just installed rFactor once again, I've never been able to make it work online because of mods needed etc...

So can anyone compile a list of what I need to get racing online with it?

Depends on wether you are going to race on public servers or orgainsed events. check out the rfactor racing club, and if you see and upcoming event you like, check out the thread as it has links to all the downloaded mods you'll need to race that event. for instance, ive only downloaded the mods i want to race in, ie V8's, and some of the formula cars. its up to you.

if you want public servers (which can be dodgy) boot up rfactor and check out what are the popular mods that you would like to drive in (wether it be stock cars or formula racing, rfactor really has everything) and then search for them online. i would only download the ones you need, the more you get the more chance you have of having trouble with one of them.

What would be the best GT mod then? And do we have a GT league going on?

RD doesn't have a GT rFactor league. Mainly open-wheel and Touring Cars - the V8's and WTM, based on the excellent TCL mod.

As for GT mods, I haven't really tried any but I like the GT cars from the Enduracers mod.

The enduroracers have a fair few public servers as well

Here is GT mod by EOAA team. It is conversion from GTR2 and you need to insert CD or DVD of this game to make installer works. It is for legal reasons.

cheers guys. I have the WTM mod now, been looking for a place to practice
