Ghosting

Not sure when it crept in...(wasn't there in 1.0.7)...but I now have a weird 'ghosting' directly behind whatever car I am driving.
It tends to follow the shape of the rear outline of the car as viewed from the side.
It's kind of a warp effect.
Using Nvidia 436.30 driver.
Anybody else with this visual anomaly?.

It's always been there, more or less, with varying severity. A few patches ago they added a different form of AA that reduced the ghosting but was a little less crisp.

1.0.2 it was.
- Added another AA method.
Temporal is now more effective against jaggies, while KTAA is more effective against ghosting.

Maybe check what AA you're using?

no, you just have to adjust your video setting options to get rid of it, play around with them till you see it disappear. I forget which setting removes it...

Use KTAA should help a bit..

It has been around a while, mostly noticeable when using tv cameras. Set antialiasing to KTAA

Thanks guys...that KTAA setting fixed it.
I recent went from epic to high on all settings just to see what the overall performance would be.
I'm thinking that's probably part of why I finally saw that issue?

Yeah, I think the AA level affects the severity of the ghosting too, I just wasn't sure.
