Croft

Croft Circuit is yet another of England's ex-airfield circuits, emerging from the Second World War with a new use for motor racing. After a fallow period in the 1980s, the circuit has re-emerged in recent years to become the premier motorsport facility in the north east.

• Pit stop: MANDATORY STOP between 10 and 50 minutes.
• Track Condition: Clear, Light wind, Fast track.
• Track Temp: 30C
• Damage: 10%
• Assists: Factory TC and ABS
• Standing Start: Jump Start = Drive through penalty

A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you must check to see that its clear before you re enter the track. Always try to re-enter the track parallel to the racing line. Stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car.

When joining the track from the pits, remain inside the white line and stay off the racing line until you are up to speed.

During qualification, do not race on your out lap, let other drivers by.


Golden Rule

1. If you hit somebody, sending them off the track and carry on like nothing happened, you take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
2. Instead, you should always wait for the affected drivers, and that way you can be 100% sure you will not get a ban.

Track limits

1. You will get 2 warnings before a drive through penalty for exceeding track limits to your advantage. Any warnings/penalties are displayed in the chat window at the end of each lap

Note: Please use your full real name in Discord and in game. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify who you are.

Croft Circuit is a motor racing circuit located near Dalton-on-Tees in North Yorkshire, England. The tarmac circuit is just over 2 miles (3 km) long and is based on the lands of an airfield, but has long since moved on from being a basic airfield...

This thing is a blast to drive

I had to swap in my Landrover suspension as Croft is "little bumpy" but apart from that this will be great.

(Oh and you want to NOT get a slowdown here, they are BRUTAL )

Such a great car. The braking reminds me of the feeling in the RSS GT3s and it's even more forgiving in the corners when throwing it around.

Not sure what TC means for the Ginetta, probably tepid control, I have had to kill the car by some drastic damping to make it not do a PoGo stick impression.

Well, it is "sorta" traction control, but more of the BMW/Porsche persuasion.
It doesn´t kill the slip/fun completely and let´s you have some "fun".
(on your own risk of course )

So Ernie, one drive in the "Screamin´Beejeesus" from Suzuka and You can´t drive (Pogo) Stick any more??

BTW, I went exactly the other way and gave the suspension some "lee"way to work out it´s differences with the washboard surface funny men on an island sell as a race track.
(here on the continent a contractor would be jailed for delivering such shoddy road work )

I’ll give it a go in your direction, I can ride curbs with my setup foot still flat to the floor. But I know it is just killing the grip., hence traction.
So I will go in your direction. and report back.

My moza-base-wheel came in yesterday, all moza now, beautifull stuff!! Did a few ai-sessions (they’re quite quick top three, nastyness turned up a few notches) with this car/track combo. Managed to stay alive a few and was able to fight, so practice is in. Felt good! Now only I need to be back in time tomorrow #fingerscrossed

I picked the wrong car and track to start experimenting with 100% FFB!

However, although I am not sure if I am racing yet I'm pleased to see I am not far off the pace.
