Different software packages with different versioning. What exactly is crazy?
Could have just checked release dates.

GBW 3.3 -> many, many static weather. 3.3 was the last version of old style Assetto Corsa weather.

gbwSuite 2.52 -> a bunch of dynamic generated weather, which support 24h time span (not 24 cycle!), correct sun path/ sun position for all Kunos tracks and the most mod tracks (for every date of the year), temperature dependent visuals and custom weather particles (support of the wet mod - rain spray, water sparkles)
2.52 is probaply the last and the newest version of the whole GBW stuff...
