According to TheSixthAxis Polyphony Digital has released sales figures for the Gran Turismo series that see's a total over over 53 million sales worldwide. Thats quite a staggering ammount of sales for a franchise with Europe making up a sizeable chunk of those sales. The complete list for each territory can be seen here. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue sold over 4 million copies worldwide which bodes well for the full release early next year.
