Maiden win for Graham
The Jordan driver could bring home his frist career victory in his 38th race. Having started 2nd on the grid, he held off Ancevski in the final laps, to win by less than 1 second. Third place went to Mane Goddard. It was a battle of strategies, as Ancevski was on 3 stops, while Graham went for 2. The McLaren driver led many laps, but in the end he was just a bit too far behind to launch a final attack.
No notable position changes at the start, except for Martins and Diehl swapping places. It was a short race for Sigoulakis, his gearbox failed in lap 2 already. Rinneaho got past Utzer after a couple of laps, while at the front Ancevski and Graham started to pull out a gap to Goddard. Rinneaho's race ended shortly after his stop, the left front suspension had broken. Graham got the lead for a few laps after Ancevski pitted, before handing it to teammate Engberink.
The top 3 remained unchanged after the first round of stops, however Ancevski now enjoyed a 5s gap over Graham. Utzer and Martins were 4th and 5th with a few seconds between them, Engberink right behind Martins in 6th. Black and Diehl were driving in 7th and 8th. The Jordans were running 1-2 after both Ancevski and Goddard came in for their 2nd stops. Black crashed out shortly after his stop, throwing away a decent chance for points.
When the Jordans both pitted a couple of laps later, Ancevski got back in the lead, 14s ahead of Goddard, 17s ahead of Graham. Bad day for Renault then when first Martins retired with a blown engine, followed by Utzer a couple of laps later with a broken suspension. Ancevski and Goddard both went in for a final time, but the gap wasn't big enough. Ancevski came out 3s behind Engberink, 6s behind Graham. Goddard in 4th was already 20s back. Diehl, Harvey, Kederer, and Laad followed in 4th to 8th. Laad didn't hold on to it for long though, as Lintner passed him in turn 1. Drama for Engberink with 7 laps to go, a puncture forced him to pit again, dropping to 6th. On fresh tyres he went on to set the fastest lap, and at least got 5th by passing Harvey with 3 laps to go.

FIA Press Conference
@Andy 'Mars Bar' Graham: Congrats on your first win, how tough were the final laps with Ancevski closing in on you?
@Milos: Were did you lose the crucial seconds that were missing in the end?
@Millsy24: First points of the season after you were close a few times already. Confident that more will follow?
