graphics cards and drivers wont install

Hi all,

Can anyone help with this?

I've installed a virtual xp machine under linux, and im trying to install the graphics card i have installed.

I have tried the CD that came with the card, even downloading drivers from ATI's website, but it wont install. It keeps coming up with an error:

"Setup was unable to find components that can be installed on your current hardware or software configuration. Please make sure you have the required hardware or software."

Each time I try to run GTR Evo, it says :

"No DirectX 9.0c video adapters found. Contact your video card vendor for updated drivers."

I installed directx when installing GTR Evo. Have installed the DirectX End-User Runtime, but to no avail.

Is there something else im missing to get the game working?

Have you tried downloading the Linux versions of the drivers from the site?

That did the trick.

I had downloaded them before, and tried to install with no luck. But tried a different way and it worked.
