PC1 graphics

Hi

I can run R3R easily on curved 34 inch monitor 3440 x 1440 with Titan X, high settings and get fps often more than 100. Very beautifull graphics, almost same level than project cars.

Project cars in 3440 x 1440 ? : i need to put alot of things in medium, low of even off to be playable, nothing ultra. Already running in -skipcrowds. Don't want to use vsync or adaptive vsync, i feel there is to much wheel lag.
The Geforce experience menu even states that optimal game setting for project cars is in 2560 x 1080 ( or something like that). Indeed it runs smoother in this resolution, but I am a bit dissapointed seeing the combinations screen en this expensive 'super GPU'.

Is the GPU not optimised for project cars yet?

Some people run Project cars smooth in 3440 x 1440 with GTX 780 i read somewhere......

Sorry to say, but that's surprisingly poor performance, I'd reckon.

I'm getting 60 - 100 fps, depending on track and number of ai, on 1080 triples with two gtx 780. I've got gfx settings sort of medium to high (low shadows though, MSAA, SMAA at medium).

What cpu are you using?

Iam running pcars on a Dell 3440 x 1440p curved monitor with an i7 2600 16gb gtx 970 4gb ssc
I run on mostly medium with track on high everything enabled.

Ive ran multiplayer races with 25+ even a few races with 10+ in thunderstorms and have never had the frames drop below 60 fps.
When i first got the card i tried everything set to high as well and it ran around 60 fps but a few tracks had areas where the frames would drop so i settled with my current settings and havent had any issues.
Looking to pick up a second 970 so i can bump everything up to high :)
Also use nvidia adaptive v synce with pre rendered frames set to 1
another tip i found usefull......i use evga precision x software and i noticed some card default the power target to below 100% or just too.....i boost mine all the way for a little more juice, and dont be alrmed by the temp raising to 90c like it says as ive monitored mine during intensive long races and ive never seen go above 70c

Thanks for that info
I changed the setting a bit, -skipcrowds, and its running smooth on 3440 x 1440 now.
Dont really see any changes between ultra/high/medium setting anyway:):):):)
I dont use vsync or adaptice vsync, cause i found this gave me some inputlag,
no going into 70-80 fps average, dont really have any input lag...
