A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you must check to see that its clear before you re enter the track. Do not just keep the throttle pinned and pull back on track.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car.

Always try to re-enter the track parallel to the racing line.

When joining the track from the pits, remain inside the white line and stay off the racing line until you are up to speed.

During qualification, do not race on your out lap, let other drivers by.

Golden Rule
  1. If you hit somebody, sending them off the track and carry on like nothing happened, you take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Instead, you should always wait for the affected drivers, and that way you can be 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a lift of the gas please.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in Discord. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Video guide too multiclass racing - Click here
  • It is the responsibility of faster cars to safely overtake slower cars. When a faster car is overtaking a slower car (a car in a slower class), whether a blue flag is being shown to the slower car or not, the slower car should be predictable and remain on the racing line. It is the responsibility of the faster car to make a safe overtake.
  • If a faster car is lapping another car in the same class, the normal gentleman's rule applies; some cooperation may be required to facilitate the overtake, usually a slight lift at the start of a straight. Please be sensible.
  • Separate qualification runs will happen for GT3 and GT4 classes. First 10 minutes for GT3, second 10 minutes for GT4. GT4 cars must not exit the pits before 10 minutes have elapsed. GT3 must not start a lap after 10 minutes have elapsed. You may be kicked from the server by race control if you ignore this rule.
  • All other Racing Club Rules still apply to this event.
  • Discord is highly recommended for all club races, multiclass events in particular.
---------

ROLLING START RULES

  • No overtaking the car ahead on Lap 1
  • No overlap with the car ahead crossing the Start/Finish line at end of lap 1
  • Please familiarise yourself with the start/finish line! If in doubt, just ask.

  • The car on pole dictates the pace. Pace should start very slowly especially through turn 1,2 and 3 then slowly pick up, but it is up to P1 when he wants to 'go'
  • Full race pace should not be until at least the start of the third sector.

  • Participants to report infringements after the race

Penalties for overtaking before or on the start finish line in a championship below.

There must be some daylight between your car and the car ahead when you cross the start finish line. i.e. No overlap

Small over lap - 5 sec penalty
Front wheel ahead of rear wheel - 10 second penalty.
Front wheel ahead of front wheel - 20 second penalty.
Rear wheel ahead of front wheel - 30 second penalty.

Penalties are cumulative for each car illegally overtaken

If a car goes off track with all 4 wheels off the road he can be legally over taken. That car must rejoin safely and carry on from his new position. No overtaking rule kicks back in and applies again!

'Bolters' on lap 1 will be kicked/banned from championship.

I want to say sorry in advance. I will probably drive in the wrong direction as a result what happened this afternoon! I shouldn't be allowed to drive in this condition.
Wow, what a result! I thought it was all over and race would finish under the safety car. Well done to Max and you should race Han, to celebrate a fantastic win and great season.

Yeah what a race that turned out to be. You knew when that safety car went in Lewis was in big trouble, a well deserved 1st championship for Max. Nice to see them all act like gentlemen at the end, at least the drivers.
Yes but Mercedes had the same choice to switch to soft first when the safety car was applied. Max would probably stayed out to take the lead and than Lewis would have been in the same situation as Max was now. But they didn't and rest is history.

Yep, I also think Lewis got away with not having to give a place back early on as that looked like a fair send from Max, Hamilton deliberately went onto the run off instead of braking hard to avoid Max and stay on track, then he gained (and still kept) enough to keep in front in the DRS zones and get away without the pressure of defending in the earlier laps against softer tyres.

That send looked pretty questionable to be honest, but F1 doesn't care about fair racing, whoever manages to put their nose an inch ahead gets the right of way and the whole track, or so it seems

Maybe, but I don't think any of us expected fair racing from these guys in this race. Will see how this latest drama plays out..
Not after the previous race for sure. Even though I'm not a fan, still I was sort of rooting for Max during the season, but after that race I just didn't care anymore. What he did then was too much even for F1 yet he got away with a slap on the wrist in my opinion

Well that's how I felt about the Copse incident this year!

Great race everyone! Silverstone is always really intense but especially with @Aksu breathing down my neck it was really tense in first stint :coffee::coffee::coffee: Unfortunately there was a problem with traffic so the battle didn't go the whole way, but I am also glad about that for the sake of my heart since we were doing exactly the same times :roflmao:

I went soft + 50% fuel for this one, although I was debating the mediums but had a flashback to two weeks ago, so decided against it. The last 2-3 laps in the car are absolutely terrible on the softs with a loose car which you need to be fast here, so I just hoped not to bin it.

Second stint was less eventful, I was pushing hard to make sure I got ahead of @demetri and just did it on the pit exit, which pretty much secured the win.

Thanks for the great race everyone, and @HF2000 and @Interslice for organising!

Pretty fun race for me in the back and I even managed a new PB, so I can’t complain about much.

Ended up battling for most of the race. First stint was with Bart and if I had done a ‘splash and dash’ pit I think I’d have gained a couple positions. Ah, well…pit stops are another learning curve. Ended up coming out behind Colin and had a great time catching them and navigating GT4 traffic and blu flag management.

@JamKart22 great time on the last two laps. Great stuff…I crossed the line thinking we had another lap. :D Great use of traffic as defense and the Nissan wonderfully covered the track.

Sorry @Marko77 for the garbage braking into turn 2. I knew immediately that I’d f’ed up everyone with those late braking shenanigans.

Congrats to the winners and thanks @Interslice for organizing. Looking forward to the last race of the championship can’t wait to see who wins it for both classes.

That was a great race for me. No offs and no touches. Thanks for the early battle Taj, I will have to look at the replay to see what happened when we almost touched.

I had fun holding off Micheal for a lap or two, but felt I should pit to take the preassure off as he was faster than me.

I really enjoy this track, it presents moments of hard concentration with little breaks on the straights.

Well done to the winners and thanks for hosting Brian.
