A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you must check to see that its clear before you re enter the track. Do not just keep the throttle pinned and pull back on track.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car.

Always try to re-enter the track parallel to the racing line.

When joining the track from the pits, remain inside the white line and stay off the racing line until you are up to speed.

During qualification, do not race on your out lap, let other drivers by.

Golden Rule
  1. If you hit somebody, sending them off the track and carry on like nothing happened, you take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Instead, you should always wait for the affected drivers, and that way you can be 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a lift of the gas please.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in Discord. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • General video guide to multiclass racing - Click here
  • It is the responsibility of faster cars to safely overtake slower cars. When a faster car is overtaking a slower car (a car in a different class), whether a blue flag is being shown to the slower car or not, the slower car should be predictable and remain on the racing line. The faster car should execute the overtake only when it is safe to do so.
  • If a faster car is lapping another car in the same class, the normal gentleman's rule applies; some cooperation may be required to facilitate the overtake, usually a slight lift at the start of a straight. Please be sensible.
  • Separate qualification runs will happen for GT3 and GT4 classes. First 10 minutes for GT3, second 10 minutes for GT4. GT4 cars must not exit the pits before 10 minutes have elapsed. GT3 must not start a lap after 10 minutes have elapsed. You may be kicked from the server by race control if you ignore this rule.
  • All other Racing Club Rules still apply to this event.
  • Discord is highly recommended for all club races.

Well I've tried out all the cars and I feel the fastest in the "slowest" ones lol

Haven't put much time into the Maserati before practicing this week, but man, those first few laps on ice skates cold tires gives me trust issues 3-4 laps later when they warm up and actually have some grip :p

That engine sound though :whistling:

Make sure you if you are driving the maser you're running it with tc and abs! It's a pig to drive without them :)

Great race everyone! Glad I had some time in the Audis on Wednesday, because I expected to have about an hour to practice and adjust setup, but with the late running of the F1 race today I had about 15 minutes :D That was no good for consistency.

Thankfully didn't take too long to feel pretty confident in the car, so I'm happy with the result. Congrats to the podiums and Tim on the GT4 win!

Still Dutch torture :roflmao:

I owe some apologies to the GT4 drivers, at least two of my lapping overtakes were dodgy, something I will improve upon.
Sorry!!!

The shopping trolley is a mysterious Italian mistress. Fast but docile in practice but then her true and tempestuous side comes to light in the race. Slow, stubborn and wants to go anywhere but the direction I wish.
I'm off to buy a big Xmas present for Sophia

Good race everyone, see you at the next one!!

Good race everyone. Congratulations Chris on the GT3 win, sorry about giving way in that blind braking zone, I did the same with Ernie and he also went wide, I guess you were using the faded kerb on the left as the marker. Other than the GT3 who went inside me on that long sweeping left hander forcing me wide to then cut back in front of me and go into the pits... all passing was nice and clean. Thanks Brian for organising. Looking forward to Silverstone.

Sorry to abandon earlier this evening. Started to feel kind of dizzy at around 30 min of race. Good start once again and then regular race until the 30 min. Tried to keep it up but clearly it wasn't the best idea - should have stopped before. Thank you for the race and perhaps sorry for the couple of incidents with GT3 when I was already about to abandon, although not quite sure if I was completely wrong in those.
Thank you Brian and well done Tim! Might get some advice from you. :)
See you on next Sunday!

Thomas, I could do very little about the McLaren pace, just about hung on. Did not expect the undercut, but I knew once the Nissan was ahead it would stifle the Macca corner speed and be very difficult to over take, both had our moments, I just about managed to stay ahead.
Great racing with you.
Well done podiums, well done to Tim for his win and of course Chris and a special thankyou to @Interslice Brian for organisation, pity Pauls BMW could not join in, but to be honest I struggled to stay with the Macca.

Thanks Ernie, again this this was a fun battle, unfortunately made a mistake after couple of laps after pit stop pushing too hard I guess. Did the undercut as we were running in GT4 traffic the next lap so I wanted to avoid this and thought I gain some time. But unfortunately I had GT4 traffic in my outlap which cost me the position.

Just as Chris I only had little practice as I was watching the end of F1 race. But nonetheless qualy was ok. After start I just wanted to find a comfort pace not to risk too much as I knew I could not go Chris' pace over the race. But instead of having comfort it was not that easy as Ernie was just 1-2 seconds behind me and we had like the same pace. But actually if you have that pressure you can stay focused and get in the flow in a way which was fun. Did the undercut as traffic was ahead but on my outlap I had traffic which cost me the position. After that I was behind Ernie, got even more motivated and was suddenly more than half a second quicker than before. I guess its really important to realize that mental focus and commitment makes so much of a difference. Unfortunately spun after couple laps in T1 which I still dont really know why that happened cause its unusual to spin there. Without a fight my laptimes dropped cause I thought thats it. But Ernie spun as well and so we had again fun racing the last laps. Could catch up within couple tenth but in battle I spun short before the end not to hit the Nissan in the braking zone, my fault. But after all I had a fun race. Thx for organizing and the great community. cu next time.
