AMS2 GT1 (3x 20m sprint) @Montreal 1988 => Thursday September 1st

Racing started out many years back with GT1. It was simple. It was one class of top-flight race cars derived from road-going sports cars.

We will race 3 off those iconic cars: Mercedes, Porsche, McLaren. Can't be any downside on those . To top off this great pack off cars; we will race them on the historic Spa circuit including the famous busstop chicane!
For extra immersion: USE THIS SKINPACK en THIS ONE

We will de doing 3 sprintraces of 20 minutes each with a short pause (10 min practice) in between. The schedule will look like this, always be aware that trackconditions and/or time can very.

Don't forget: These races are just to have fun, so keep it clean in T1

Protip: - Set your VR and tripple settings (framewise) so you can handle whatever the server trows at you.
- be prepared for higher then default tyre wear

Inwould prefer doing another try at fixed setup. Want to check if the close racing was a one time lucky event or the result. I asked in this group but got only positif reply until now. Whats your vision on fixed or free setup Ernie?

free setup, this is a tricky circuit for me. without tc and abs, so for me a free setup.

Fixed works for me, I like it for these short weekly sprint races. Definitely takes away some worry about setups

sign me up please. I think fixed would be fine now these cars have all been updated. Would be nice to get used to them too on the default setup, as they feel a lot better
You can still adjust brake bias in the race too

Thanks guys. Take the remarks into concidderation. Its in favor off fixed at the moment wich is positive in my view. I think we had great racing fixed as it was…. The outcome wasnt and thats what counts

1.4 has altered how the server reads the damage scale, so it was defaulting to MAX, which is no good in these cars! So damage is visual only for this race. Though mechanical damage is still active.
