IMPORTANT

Following a number of updates, the N24 BOP Apex Modding GT3 cars have been upgraded to the latest version. Also, the latest N24 BOP ISI Corvette has also been added to the roster of cars for this week's event. Therefore, when you log-in to the server, a number of new mods will be automatically downloaded and installed. To avoid any issues, please uninstall any old versions of the N24 BOP mods that we use first. If you have any issues or questions please do not hesitate to post a message here, or send me a PM.

Is it possible and also ok for all to do a formation lap in the GT races? The immersion before racing would be much greater in my opinion

Nope, practise is not mandatory. You can join at any point before the race.

Are all the sounds and templates downloaded automatically when joining server?
Edit: asking because I was just on the server and I experienced some clipping in the sound of some of the BES cars. Might be my system though, or the fact that I've tampered with conf files to increase the tire scrub volume.

I think we'll go for a formation lap with a standing start, so no pace car necessary.

rF2 has AI driven pace cars as well, but they don't always work as expected, so we'll try and avoid that unless people are happy to give it a go.

Yup, all required mods are downloaded automatically when you join the server if you don't have them already. The sound mod for the BES cars isn't required any more, as the audio files are integrated with the vehicle mod as they should be, so I would say that the problem is client-side.
