You need all DLC's listed in the description to join, that's the way AC works. As for the specs unfortunately I can't help with that. You'd have to compare them with minimum requirements on Steam in game description.
Other events however require fewer DLC's or sometimes non at all, such as Mondays, Wednesdays, Tursdays and Fridays, keep an eye out for those as well
